How We Use Your Information

We're not in the business of selling your data. The information we collect serves specific purposes related to providing and improving our budgeting service.

All data transmitted between your device and our servers uses TLS encryption. Your budget entries are encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption. We store data in secure facilities within Thailand that meet industry security standards.

Our team follows strict access controls. Only authorized personnel can view user data, and only when necessary for support or technical maintenance. We log all access to monitor for unusual activity.

That said, no system is completely immune to security breaches. If we detect a data breach that affects your information, we'll notify you within 72 hours and explain what happened, what data was involved, and what steps we're taking.

Data Retention

We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy.

• Active account data remains accessible while your account is open
• After account deletion, most data is removed within 30 days
• Some information is retained longer for legal compliance, typically up to 7 years as required by Thai financial record-keeping laws
• Anonymized analytics data may be kept indefinitely since it can't identify you
• Backup copies are automatically deleted after 90 days

If you stop using your account but don't delete it, we'll keep your data for up to 3 years of inactivity before sending a deletion notice.

Our servers are located in Thailand, and we primarily serve users within the country. However, some of our service providers operate internationally, which means your data might be processed outside Thailand.

When this happens, we ensure these partners provide adequate protection through standard contractual clauses or other approved mechanisms. Your data receives the same level of protection regardless of where it's processed.

Changes to This Policy

We update this privacy policy occasionally to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. When we make significant changes, we'll notify you by email and display a notice on the platform for 30 days.

The "Last Updated" date at the top shows when we last revised this policy. Continuing to use technointellects after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
